Day 1 - July 27: To Port Alberni, BC
Travel over to Duke Point, south of Nanaimo, on Vancouver Island, with a stop to see the goats on the roof of the Old Country Market and browse the many shops
Continue West into Port Alberni, nestled in the heart of the Alberni Valley

Day 2-July 28: Port Alberni to Ucluelet (B,L)
Board the MV Frances Barclay for a 4 1/2 hour cruise through the broken islands and into Ucluelet
Enjoy a great pub lunch overlooking the inlet
Explore the shores of the Pacific Rim National Park
Overnight on the shores of Mackenzie Beach at the Best Western Tin Wis Resort

Day 3 - July 29: Ucluelet to Port Alberni (B)
Continue with stops in the Pacific Rim National Park
Travel over the spine of the Vancouver Island mountains to the Maclean Mill National Historic Site and ride the rails of the Alberni Valley Pacific Steam Train

Day 4-July 30: Port Alberni to Home
Walk through the stately Cedar Giants in the MacMillan Cathedral Grove
Try your luck in the Nanaimo Casino before your cruise back to Vancouver aboard BC Ferries
